Bloomington Brewing Company invites YOU to the brewery for our 3rd annual Oktoberfest party! Sunday, September 22nd, 2024 from 3-7 pm at the BBC brewery (2234 W. Industrial Park Dr. Bloomington, IN 47404). We'll be celebrating all that is German beer, food, and music. Bufoonski Brothers Polka Party Band, Pappy Shack food truck, AND giant beer mugs full of your favorite BBC beer!! Bring the whole family for a German experience at the brewery. Presented by the IU Arts and Humanities Council and inspired by legendary Hoosier author Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Granfalloon brings together musicians, artists, thinkers, and good people from all walks of life for a celebration of art, ideas, and community.

Granfalloon is presented concurrently and in partnership with the Indiana University Writers’ Conference and the Bloomington Handmade Market. Festival events take place in venues all around Bloomington and encompass a wide range of creative forms including live music concerts, literary readings, art exhibits, film screenings, theatrical performances, panel discussions, craft workshops, interactive demos, and more! 

You can find the BBC Beer Trailer at the Main Stage on June 8th where we will be serving our selection of brews as well as our festival themed beer, The Kilgore Cream Ale. IT’S BACK!!! By popular demand Thirsty Thursday at the brewery is back for a very limited number of occurrences this year! We’ll have Arepa Burger and Limestone Nomad on deck for the tunes and eats. Kids can play in our gaga ball pit, we’ll have cornhole and of course the freshest beer around. All ages and all people are welcome. Join the nonprofit Indiana Brewers Guild for the return of its spring fundraiser, the 10th Bloomington Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 2 - 6 p.m. at the incredibly unique Historic Woolery Mill, a former limestone mill in beautiful Bloomington, Indiana with music from The Stampede String Band!

Early Entry - Enter at 2pm & receive a taster glass to enjoy first dibs on beers from 30+ participating Hoosier breweries and guests, with a smaller crowd size and shorter lines. Early Entry guests will also receive a limited edition Bloomington Craft Beer Fest pint glass upon exit.

General Admission – Enter at 3 pm and receive a taster glass good for unlimited 3 oz. pours of local beer, cider and craft cocktails.

Designated drivers can enter at the same time as the rest of their party and will enjoy unlimited non-alcoholic beverages from DD vendors.

Ticket proceeds support the not-for-profit Indiana Brewers Guild (Drink Indiana) and our mission to support, educate, promote and legislate on behalf of Hoosier Breweries.

The Brewers of Indiana Guild, our members believe in building community one pint at a time. We routinely partner with our local community to give back and to support other not-for-profit and volunteer organizations. A portion of ticket proceeds from every Bloomington Craft Beer Festival ticket sold is donated to our local charity partner, TBA.

Dyngus Day at the Brewery

Come celebrate Dyngus Day with Bloomington Brewing Company and the Bufoonski Brothers Polka Party Band! Monday, April 1, 2024, 6 - 9 pm. $5 at the door. All ages are welcome, pups are allowed (outside only). Come hungry for Speakeasy Pizza food truck!!! The BBC Beer truck will have the full range of BBC Beers, and we're bringing back the keg gaga ball pit!  

The Bufoonski Brothers are Kevin MacDowell (AKA Kid Kazooey), Tim Moore (of Salaam), Joe Donnelly (of many local bands, and Jackson Creek Middle Schooler's favorite band teacher), and Forrest Means (who has played with the Lawrence Welk band before - and that's all you need to know!). The Polka brothers have invited special guest Addy Witkiewicz (AKA Addison Rogers of Busman's Holiday), WFHB's favorite late-night polka-playing DJ, as emcee!

This year Dyngus Day is on April Fools' Day, so come and make a fool of yourself in like-minded company! Since it is one week before the much-anticipated Total Solar Eclipse, the band has worked out arrangements for your favorite eclipse-themed polkas! The band will have other tricks up their sleeve that require the drummer bringing his 5 foot gong!

We are happy to announce The Krampus Bizaar 2023 - a craft fair themed around Krampus and the Yule season! Meet some local vendors and pick up handmade items for your loved ones for the holidays.

The Burnished Raven is partnering with Bloomington Brewing Co to offer an event that will help bring the fun of Krampus back to Bloomington! Join us on December 17th to support local vendors, promote local brews, and meet Krampus itself.

Bloomington Brewing Company is releasing THE ORIGINAL Krampus Brew, an Imperial Russian Stout, which will be available for purchase during the event. There will also be a food truck on-site to offer grub while you visit! B-Town Krampus will also be in attendance with their costumed crew, however, this IS a kid-friendly event, so grab the little ones and bring them to Krampus.

Brewfest 2023 is an event you do not want to miss! Festival patrons will have the opportunity to taste craft beer, wines, and liquors. Patrons can also enjoy food from local vendors, yard games, and music. This all happens once again at our new location, the West Side Library Park on popular Franklin Street!

All proceeds from the 19th Annual Brewfest event go to benefit SWIRCA & More, a non-profit organization that dedicates itself to helping individuals maintain their independence in the face of disabilities and aging. Must be 21+ to attend event with valid ID. No ID, No Entry. SWIRCA supports responsible drinking and safe driving only, so please plan ahead to take advantage of the safe ride included with your ticket price. A local food truck is always in tow as are guided brewery tours by the BBC staff. Brewery owners are on site to pour and talk beer with friends and attendees. Beer is sold by the pint and special carry-out beer is available for sale. It’s a fun, laid-back evening to meet up with friends, enjoy a beer or two, learn a little about beer production and get to know Bloomington’s first craft brewery, BBC. Pets are welcome when the weather allows us to utilize our outside space, since we are a food production site, pets must stay outdoors but they are welcome to join the outside fun.
